I fell into the business of buying and selling cars for profit back in the 90’s. The events leading up to me discovering this included a serious case of work burn-out and the passing away of my mother.

I found myself really needing to get away and make some changes in my life. So after six months of preparation, I moved myself, my wife and two little kids across the Pacific…to surf, windsurf and decompress for a while. True story.

I won’t go into all the details here on how I discovered buying and selling cars for profit, but like anyone that starts something new (with no instructions), I made a few dumb mistakes since I didn’t have The Lazy Way to Buy and Sell Cars for Profit to guide me like you can have.

But it was a few profitable car deals I lucked out on, and the promise of larger future profits (plus 4 mouths to feed!) that made me press on and continue to learn and refine my approach…instead of bailing out.

So what became of my much needed sabbatical in da islands? Well, thanks to the free time I had from buying and selling cars, I was able to fully experience and live in one of the most beautiful (and expensive!) places on earth…and windsurf my ass off in true world class conditions!

And that adventure became the genesis for writing The Lazy Way To Buy and Sell Cars for Profit.
